Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These terms apply to the PDF Tool app for iPhone and to this website, both provided by PDF Tool. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What the app does

PDF Tool converts documents between PDF and Office formats, scans paper, edits, signs, compresses, merges, splits and protects PDFs, keeps files in an on-device library, transfers files from a computer over Wi-Fi, and answers questions about a PDF with AI. Features may change between versions.

3. Your documents

You keep all rights to the documents you process. You must have the right to use, convert and share every document you open in the app.

Conversion and AI PDF send your document to a server to do their work, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to process content you are not allowed to process, or that is illegal.
• Do not attempt to overload, probe or misuse the conversion or AI services, or to use them outside the app.
• Do not reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.

5. AI PDF answers

AI PDF answers are generated automatically by a third-party service and may be wrong or incomplete. Check important information against the document; page references are provided so you can.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". Conversions aim to keep layout and content but cannot reproduce every document exactly, and the online services may sometimes be unavailable. Keep your own copy of important documents.

To the extent the law allows, PDF Tool is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

7. Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access to the online services for anyone who breaks these terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
